Beyond “Use Your Words”: Practical Solutions When Challenging Behaviors Keep Happening

This interactive training moves beyond basic behavior-management strategies to explore what educators can do when familiar approaches aren’t enough. Participants will learn how to identify patterns in challenging behavior, match prevention and teaching strategies to children’s needs, support children with limited verbal communication, and address persistent challenges such as biting, grabbing, difficult transitions, and disengagement. Participants will leave with concrete tools they can immediately apply to classroom routines.
